SUP Tahoe was founded in 2012 by Jessica & Brandon Miller, who were on a mission to get visitors and locals alike out on the water.

With the inflated pricing of SUP rentals in Lake Tahoe, Jessica and Brandon found there was a need to offer an alternative to expensive lakefront locations — taking the board yourself to the beach saves money for the value-conscious consumer!

Chances are if you are going to a beach in South Lake Tahoe, you will be driving right by SUP Tahoe.

JESSICA

“Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, I've always loved being outdoors. I grew up surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains and beautiful waters of Tahoe.

As a young adult, I moved to Kauai and picked up the sport of Stand Up Paddle. Wanting to share the sport and spend summers with my family, we decided to start SUP Tahoe.

BRANDON

“Born in Florida and raised in Kauai, HI — the ‘Garden Island’ — I came from a family of surfers and water skiers. My lifelong enthusiasm for water sports includes wakeboarding, waterskiing, and surfing.

When my family relocated to Kauai during high school, I spent all year round enjoying surfing, which soon evolved into one of the fastest-growing sports to date, Stand Up Paddle surfing. SUP originated in the Hawaiian Islands and I am excited to bring this opportunity to my wife's hometown of beautiful South Lake Tahoe.”

“My favorite part about paddle-boarding is how versatile it is.

you can take an inflatable SUP to desolation wilderness, throw a beach chair on your board and enjoy some IPA’s with music & friends, paddle to emerald bay, or just enjoy a morning exploring with your pup!”
