Are life jackets included with the rental?

Yes, all rentals include life jackets, and we offer kids’ life jackets at no additional charge.


Do we have to take our boards to the water on our own? My car doesn’t have any racks!

It doesn’t matter what you drive, everything we need to load the board onto your vehicle is included with the rental price. At the shop, we load and unload everything for you.


Which are the best beaches to paddle?

Baldwin and Pope beaches are the closest to our shop. Meeks bay is special and is about 30 minutes from our storefront. Another popular option is Sand Harbor, it is very important to arrive at sand harbor before they open at 8 am. You are able pick your board up the day before your rental after 4pm for an additional $15.


Do you offer multiple-day discounts?

Yes! Please put your dates in our reservation calendar for a calculated rate.


Do I need a reservation?

We gladly accept walk ups however a reservation will expedite the process when you arrive.


How long is your season?

We typically offer rentals from April 1st to October 31st, weather depending. Retail sales are available year-round at our store on Emerald Bay Road by appointment: November - April.


What happens if I fall in? How cold is the lake?

Families with small children and anyone affected by cold water should be cautious and realistic about their swimming ability and experience level. Here are some links for the most common cold water emergencies:

Do I need experience?

Not at all. We have all sizes of boards to fit any size person with all experience levels and we’ll set you up with the one best for you.


Do you offer lessons?

We don't offer on-water lessons, however we are happy to give you a complete tutorial in our shop. We send out first timers every day with great success!
